I am the master of the above junk which left SAN MET (Long.115° 25' E. Lat. 22° 46' §.) on 14.9.40 at 16.00hours. bound for Hong Kong. Altogether there were 30 persons an

board. by cargo consisted of 26 baskets of eggs Value $780.00, 38 pigs value $380.00 and 3 baskets of flat fish value $50.00.

On 15.9.40 at 07.00 hours my junk was sailing about one mile off SAX KUN Customs (Long.114° 39' E. Lat. 22° 26' N.)

I saw a Japanese trawler, painted grey, one funnel, two masts,

the number "5" painted white amidships and flying a Japanese

naval flag at the stern come from a westerly direction.

trawler came alongside my junk. Three Japanese dressed in

khaki uniform and armed with truncheons boarded my junk. The

Japanese searched my boat. All the cargo except 30 pigs were

then removed to the trawler. My junk was tied to the trawler and

was towed to SAM NUN Customs. When we arrived at SAM KUN

Customs I was ordered to sail my junk alongside the trawler.

About one hour later, another Japanese trawler, painted grey, 2 masts, one funnel, the mumber "6" painted white amidships and flying the Japanese naval flag at its stern, arrived towing two Junks No.T.2403H and another junk unlicensed. These two junks came alongside my junk. All the people mumbering about 30 in all, were ordered by the Japanese to board my junk. I wasthen

ordered to sail away. It was then about 14.00 hours. At about

19.00 hours (15.9.40) when my junk was passing
